Day 1-2 in Japan...Life is like roller coaster

Hihi Everyone! Just took this 2 hr ago!



Okie Just a short brief of where am I now.



Now in A hostel in Asakusa....

As my friend has big problem in her family....i will have to travel all alone in japan now



No worries I am very used to tokyo now with my super pathetic aka dont-know-at-all japanese language...



use hand and legs to ask questions sometime..haha



Let me start talking my journey from day 1 Singapore to till now in Asuakusa tokyo

Alone...sleeping for most of the time..85% sleeping - 5% eat-15% watch 1 episode of CSI and 1 cartoon.

My flight from 1015am to HK then to Tokyo ...820pm....10 hrs of flight.

Took train to my accomodation for 1st night

change change change 3 times to different train

COMPLICATED MAN!!!!

Very grateful to this 2 guys...good friends of my friend....

One drive me from the train station to the accomodation. 1 lent me his room....

The second day...woke up very early to go to my hostel at Tokyo City (then i was at far away from tokyo city..)
Buying train tickets...

Okie hell complicated....this is only part of it...

But now i'm used to the system,...

plus the train stations are unlike singapore...

they are own by different companies...so you might need to go out and find another train station for another color line.....

tough but still can handle.

Suddenly felt that...i'am pretty awesome....haha

At my hostel...with moo...my red tea....tour guide book...and my 'bible'

My hostel....very very nice place...clean and safe...

3000 yen per night ...affordable

Shopping street along Lei Men area...lots of typical tourist goods....hee i didnt buy anything...feel more like a local here

Bought this red bean shao....nice....and cheap...60 yen for 1...100 yen for 3....



okie i cheapo..i bought 3...haha but only ate 1 ..left 2 in my bag...

Interesting...japanese hair style...ang mo looking...you know who they are targeting then >.<

Back to hostel for a while after a 1 hr walk....moo on my bed...



Went to a place called Shang4 ye4 in the afternoon...didnt expect to stay there so long after that

reached around 350pm and walked around there till around 8pm


This is a place with lot of museum ...actually want to spend to go into the famous Tokyo National Museum...1500 yen around 20 sing bucks...but okie...i walked around and reached there only by 5pm...CLOSED. great to some extend i saved 1500 yen.

Okie after i reached Shang ye Train station...I used my hand language to ask the direction...

and very soon i found the place and very lucky there is a free exhibiton for today for high school student artwork...

okie...the art pieces are really nice..and i doubt much singapore can come out with this kind of standard and deep thought...

cant take pics...too bad..cant show you...what is called NICE



went to walk around in the park...got temples hiding here and there in it...

Just walked around even without the map, you will still spot some...

One thing is this temple quite creepy...cos they offered ppl to 'adopt' Ren2 Xin2...

Not sure what it is ...but to me ...quite creepy by the words

Further down...there's lotus pond...

Called Bu4 Ren3 Ci2 ( directly translate from chinese character is Not Bear Pond...)

Talked to a Japanese Uncle here....Like duck and chicken talk...

he know as little english vocab as what i know in japanese vocab

aka most of the time i dont know what he is saying but I used guess one...haha

still okie he can understand means i guessed it right>.<

after that...went to the shop district beside the park...

just wanna to get a drink or what...didnt expect to stay so long till nightfall!

In japan tokyo, everywhere is these kind of water vending machines...

really everywhere...

no way you can die of thirst..unless you got no 120yen at least.

VERY VERY VERY VERY SWEET HONEY DEW...

the sweetest honeydew i ever ate in my life...

heavenly nice!!! and only 100yen...

well in singapore foodcourt...a tasteless honey dew piece is not much cheaper!

BUT THIS IS REALLY SWEET AND NICE>!

wonder if i closed my eyes for 5 mins then open again...

will i find myself at lot1? instead of a street in tokyo???

OKie...i'm in Japan...

A famous shop for selling pretty affordable food stuff...

inside for 40mins...

spent nearly 3000 yen ...

cos bought some chocolates mainly japan type of kitkat...

hehe

okie...they have a lot of this kind of machine....

guess what...even suitcase can also be 'catch'

didnt take the pic...as not allowed (inside the shop)

okie...ren bu zhu...spent / wasted 100 yen for a try...

since i used the wasted...you know the ending...>.<

checked the price for Mac set meal and KFC setmeal...

cheapest is around 660 yen around 8-9 singapore dollars...

okie...OF COS I WONT EAT THAT THEN!!!

went to a small shop for ramen...

used my broken japanese language and bought a ramen..

okie i missed out a pic again...will upload at the top...

chocolates in bag and some in the plastic bag i:m holding...

another plastic bag is where Moo is...haha...i cant keep in bag..take in and out

too troublesome!

but will scare the plastic get loss and moo is gone too!

Time aroubd 8pm...spent hell lot of time in 1 location...

but saw a lot of things...and walked a lot of road...

and it is good to tour around without rushing!

On my way back, saw this nice shop near the train station..

saw the price...100 yen for 1 ice cream puff...keke why NOT?

after i went back to the station near my hostel..

find the time still early...so just walked to nearby river side called Yu4 tian2 chuan1

famous as it is where all the summer fireworks displayed..

again 1 missed it...haa

maybe will try to go to kyoto asap to catch their summer celebration

I think I am strongly and braver

and less blur than what i thought i am....

I am not afraid to be alone in a place where i dont understand the langage (almost at all)

Think and hope i can cope well....

Need to find ways to go to osaka and kyoto ASAP...and of cos accomodation too....

I am pretty happy over here now...as in it is really a rare opportunity to travel alone and to learn to be independence.
